Why Timber Frame?
Our factory-manufactured timber frames are engineered to the highest level of accuracy and quality. Timber frames significantly simplify on-site construction, promoting greater efficiency and supply chain integration. The predictability of timber frames gives a greater control to the construction process, improving construction health and safely, while also meeting and exceeding all current building regulations. Timber frames also perform well in terms of fire and flood resistance and is by far the most environmentally friendly way to build.

Wood is effectively a carbon-neutral material (even allowing for
transport).
Timber frame has the lowest CO2 cost of any commercially
available building material.
Did you know that a typical 100 square metre two-storey detached
timber frame home built to the latest Building Regulations contains
5-6 cubic metres more wood than the equvalent masonry house. This
means that every timber frame home we build saves about 4 tonnes
of carbon dioxide (about the same amount produced by driving 14,000
miles).
If all new houses build in the UK since 1945 had been timber frame,
then more than 300 million tonnes of carbon dioxide would have been
saved. To put this into context, consider the face that, at current
rates, it will take us anoter 200 years to achieve this sort of
saving using the Governments latest energy regulations for new homes.
